Users of flyer printing may be affected by new direct marketing partnership

Trovus and the Institute of Direct Marketing have formed a new partnership, which may affect those that use flyer printing.

Companies that use flyer printing could be affected by a new partnership that aims to highlight the importance of web and business intelligence.

Trovus has joined forces with the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) and will be participating in events and seminars to provide the latter's membership with insights into building online intelligence and engaging with clients.

Lisa Turner, marketing director at the IDM, said her organisation believes it is crucial for companies to "embrace effective digital innovations which enhance the impact and results of their marketing activities".

Web intelligence allows firms to gain in-depth knowledge into online behaviour, which will improve "effective engagement with customers and prospects", she continued.

Co-founder and director of Trovus, Casper Craven, added the partnership will show members of the IDM that new online approaches can deliver measurable results.

Earlier this month, Brendan Rolston of Actionmail spoke to NZ Business magazine about the relationship between direct mail and internet-based marketing, suggesting the two do not have to be mutually exclusive.
