High prioritisation of sustainability to affect folded leaflet printers?

Folded leaflet printing firms may wish to put sustainability further up their agendas, it has been suggested.

Folded leaflet printing companies may wish to prioritise sustainability more highly following remarks from one expert.

Speaking at Sustainability Now, Paul King - chief executive of the UK Green Building Council - said cost-cutting agendas are causing firms to think far more seriously about environmental issues, compared to the more relaxed attitude that abounded when money was easier to come by.

"We are seeing sustainability being ever more firmly at the top of agendas," he commented.

Mr King stated bosses are aware of the way government policy is heading in terms of carbon taxes and other legislation and are therefore "thinking about future-proofing their business".

People expect sustainability to be built into commercial property and are considering how such assets will perform in five to ten years' time, he continued.

Sustainability Now is an online event taking place on December 8th and 9th that aims to provide the latest news and information on how to create and maintain a green built environment.
