Cumbrian policeman say goodbye to notepads, but you don't have to

Officers are starting to use smartphones in order to go paperless and spend more time with the community.

Police are replacing their traditional notebooks with smartphones as part of a scheme. The smartphones are being equipped with bespoke apps for officers that have been designed to help them go paper free, as well as to give them more time in the community.

Just don't forget to charge you phones, officers!
