Clarks to use services of flyer printers in new Originals campaign?

The brand is emphasising its connection to the music scene in a new campaign.

Clarks might like to enlist the services of flyers to help promote a new campaign for its Originals Shoes.

Marketing Week reports the drive aims to emphasise the company's connection to the music scene, as it has long been the choice of bands such as Oasis.

It will also be setting up a pop-up store within its Piccadilly branch in London, dedicating an entire floor to the Originals brand from February 7th to 20th.

Gemma Green, Clarks Originals marketing manager, described the moves as the start of "an exciting new chapter".

"Our shoes have been on the feet of musicians - and music fans - for decades and it is time we communicate the passion we have for music," she said.

It follows the news that Superdrug is to launch its first reward scheme in May, according to Campaign Live, which could lead the retailer to use new marketing methods such as cheap flyers.
