Printed brochures 'can help companies stand out'

Firms may wish to use printed brochures in their direct mail campaigns, following comments from one expert.

Printed brochures are an effective means of standing out from other direct mail materials such as postcards , an expert has claimed.

Chris Bibey, owner of MailMarlin.com, wrote in an article for RISMedia firms need to think outside the box in order to make a marketing campaign successful and using more unusual formats such as brochures is one way of doing so.

He also advised bosses to consider making sure the design and presentation of their promotional materials are unique, as it is crucial their direct mail stands out.

Companies need to stay organised and track the results of their advertising strategies, Mr Bibey continued, so they can identify which methods are working best and focus their time and money in the right place.

His remarks follow those made by Dean Reick of Direct Creative, who MarketingProfs reported as saying large direct mail pieces are an effective means of communicating with customers because they look prominent in comparison to smaller materials.
