UK printers to benefit from eco-friendly product?

People in need of UK printing services could find they benefit from a new eco-friendly fabric that has been unveiled by Drytac Europe.

According to printweek.com, the company has launched the material - called Panda Print - which is made out of natural bamboo fibre and is said to be a "green alternative for various applications".

Speaking to the publication, a spokeswoman for the organisation explained the new product can be used either indoors or outdoors and is compatible with machines by a range of different brands, such as Canon, HP, Roland and Epson.

She added: "It provides excellent colour pop and trims evenly without fraying, giving finished products that clean and professional look, but without harming the environment."

The representative went on to note the fabric is 99.6 per cent biodegradable and free of harmful chemicals.

Drytac Europe is a division of the company that was founded in Ottowa, Canada more than 30 years ago and is a distributor and manufacturer of products for graphic finishing.
